HOW TO: Tint Back Makeover Using Redken Shades EQ

Colorist Courtney-Tyler Albig shared her tint-back process with us on Instagram and we knew we had to share it with you!

Courtney, who works in Strathmore, Alberta Canada at Runway Hair Design Co., a Redken concept salon, has only been doing hair for 3 years--but has a true passion for hair color.

"I love the salon I work at because there is a lot of support and lots of extra education which is super important," she says.

After three hours, and $160, this client left the salon with hair that looks much healthier, shinier and incredibly on-trend for fall.

HER PROCESS

For this tint back, she first filled with Redken Shades EQ Gloss 08c + 06wg equal parts and processing solution. Then the final gloss was Redken Shades Cream 06n and 04n equal parts + 10 volume developer.
