Diane Stevens, lead stylist for the Nioxin Design Team, created unique top-of-the-head braids at the Korto Momolu show at Mercedes Benz Spring 2014 Fashion Week. The fashions in the Korto Momolu collection featured strong hues, varied textures and classic beading. Stevens’ braided styles perfectly capture the essence of the designer’s “Enchanted Fantasy” collection. Stevens used a variety of Nioxin styling and finishing products to create the head-hugging fishtail braids.
GET THE LOOK:
Prep damp hair by applying 6-8 pumps of Nioxin DiaMax to the roots.
Spray Therm Activ Protector along the lengths of the damp hair for protection.
Layer Bodifying Foam from roots to ends for maximum body.
Use a Denman brush to blow dry the hair and a Mason Pearson brush to create a high ponytail.
Apply a dime-sized amount of Definition Crème to the ponytail and create a fishtail braid.
Twist the fishtail braid around the top of the head and spritz with NioSpray Regular hold hair spray.
