1.) Apply Base Color over entire head. Rinse and blot dry. 2.) Create a triangular parting starting about 2" below the high point of the head, outwards towards the bottom of the ear on each side. 3.) Take a horizontal parting from the top of one ear to the other side. 4.) Subdivide the large triangle vertically into three smaller triangles. 5.) You will now have a total of 5 triangles on the back of the head. 6.) Tie each section into a ponytail at the base, winding the elastic band about 1" down to help the ponytail to stand out. Tie a second elastic band about half way down the ponytail to maintain control.
7.) Take a horizontal parting along the parietal ridge. 8.) Connect with a vertical parting down...
7.) Take a horizontal parting along the parietal ridge. 8.) Connect with a vertical parting down to behind the ear. 9.) Subdivide this side triangle diagonally into four smaller triangles. Clip the triangle at the front hair line out of the way.
10.) Tie each of the other three sections into a ponytail, winding the elastic band downward...

Apply the color to the tips of the hair, starting at the ends and working up towards the elastic band. As you approach the elastic, do not separate or saturate the hair. This will help diffuse the color into the base color. Wrap strand in foil. 12.) Alternate Warm and Cool Red formulas on each ponytail, starting with the Warm Red towards the front hairline. Apply Warm Red formula first to all ponytails first to allow for longer processing time. 13.) Process and rinse each ponytail. Cut out elastic bands with razor.

COLOR IT: Use Warm Red Permanent Color (1:1) 25g 6RRC + 5g R Mix + 30g 40 Volume Cream Developer; Use Cool Red Permanent Color (1:1) 30g 6R + 30 g 30 Volume Cream Developer. For the "Cocoa" Demi Translucent Color formula use 20g 3N + 10g 4V.
