HOW-TO: Ocean Blue Ombre

Vivid hair color can be beautiful, but it's high-maintenence! Before your clients opt for a bright pink, blue, purple etc. make sure they're educated on proper color protection:

-Use color-protecting shampoos to prolong color vibrancy.

-Use heat protection sprays before using thermal tools.

-Limit sun exposure which causes color fading (wear sun hats whenever necessary).

In the how-to below, Shonda Broadus, colorist at Color Me RAD Salon in Beaufort, South Carolina had a client come in with previously colored vivid hair color wanting an ocean blue color correction. Broadus used Pravana Vivids products and gave her a cool ombre that resembles a tropical coastline.
