Masked Beauty by Matthew ParkesMatthew Parkes, from Matthew Parkes Salon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, wanted to fuse both “goth” and “glam” together in this look using colors seen in today’s fashion and trends. In preparation for the shoot, Parkes started by creating a story board pulling together images and inspirations.

Get the look: “First I prepared my model using Goldwell Topchic Hair Color and Goldwell Elumen. Then using Great Lengths hair extensions, I was able to mold my model's mask by basket weaving and setting to desired shape. To create the mask, I pre-blended #59, #1 and pastel green all in eight inches cut into 1/8 pieces. The rest of my model’s hair consists of five bundles of #1 in 24in, 2 bundles of #59 in 20in, 2 bundles of jewel purple and 1 bundle of lilac. I applied demi-color after application to create an ombré effect.”
