By Lauren Salapatek | 06/14/2012 9:59:00 AM

For the next three weeks up until the premiere of The Amazing Spiderman, premiering July 3, MODERN and FIRST CHAIR will be posting one OPI nail-how to per week from their exclusive Amazing Spider-Man nail collection that depicts nail art ranging from how to create faux webbing to the detailing on spidey’s mask! This week’s post shows you how to create the BLUE MOON nail on your clients. Using just two polishes (Just Spotted The Lizard and Into the Night) this blue and golden nail will get your Spiderman-fan clients in the mood for the upcoming movie! Make sure you stay tuned in the weeks to come for the SPIDEY-WEB and SPIDER-MAN steps!

BLUE MOON STEPS:

Step 1: Polish nail with Just Spotted the Lizard. Polish moon with Into the Night.

Step 2: Polish a line below the moon using Into the Night.

Step 3: With Into the Night, create a fade by applying more pressure towards the free edge. Allow to dry.

Step 4: Finish with top coat.
