Here, Celebrity Hair Colorist Eva Scrivo creates a dimensional blonde using baliage and INOA.  From the Bond Blondes Collection by Eva Scrivo.

STEP 1: Using the bowl and brush technique, begin with a root shading. In the ½-inch closest to the scalp, apply INOA 8.1 (medium ash blonde) and 10-volume.

STEP 2: Place along the front hairline as the last application to prevent over absorption. Process for 10 minutes at room temperature. Shampoo, condition, rinse and dry.

STEP 3: To balayage, first paint the desired shade onto the palette. In this case, Platinum with 30-volume developer.

STEP 4: Pull out fine sections and place on the pre-deposited color. Take brush and saturate to the ends or mids, depending on previous color. Do not overlap.

STEP 5: Feather the color to the root. Begin at the perimeter. Hold sections out and feather with the end of the color brush.

STEP 6: Actively balayage the strands or sections that are most yellow. The selection is quite deliberate.

STEP 7: Cover hair with plastic wrap and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

I would love to see a step by step of this cut and style. I've been hanging on to this issue of Modern Salon because I love this hair so much.
