Paige Curtis (@paigecurtisss), a stylist/colorist at Scissorhands Salon in Bakersfield, CA., was given a fun opportunity for client Sami. "She had never done anything to her hair, color wise, so when she saw my work, a color I had done similar to this one, she said 'I HAVE TO HAVE THIS!'" Curtis jumped on it.
"I call her my chocolate raspberry creation," says Curtis. Here she offers the HOW TO:
Step 1: Prelightened the mid/ends with Wella Blondor blended with 20 volume developer.
Step 2: Lift to level 7. Shampoo and blow dry.
Step 3: Along the top apply Joico Vero K-Pak 4n
Step 4: From mids to ends apply Goldwell 6vv with 20 volume developer.
Step 5: Place client under the dryer for about 20 minutes and then cool off 10 minutes.
TIP: I use Goldwell's Topchic 6vv because it's the only color I have found with that violet red tone that comes out this bright and vibrant and is a is PERMANENT color.
