HOW TO: Prevent Color Staining Around The Hairline

By Maggie Mulhern | 06/24/2013 10:50:00 AM

Gustav Mendoza, Soma Education Team Member, uses color to remove color. "I came up with this when I was working on a client," he says. "The color was on the forehead so I blended color and shampoo, placed the blend on a towel, and used it to cleanse the forehead. It is a great way to prevent staining and to remove any color residue."

In this short video (less than 2 minutes) Mendoza offers the HOW TO.

Don't think he came up with this concept. I have always used color to remove color around the hairline for a while now, in addition will use Vaseline around the hairline to prevent color stains as well. Although I make sure not to use too much vaseline since the color may not penetrate through those fussy gray fly aways around the hairline. Good video though!
