(Photo by Steve Granitz/WireImage) Music's biggest night celebrated the 56th Grammy Awards and stars showed off their "gotta get it" hair styles! Jenny Balding, NYC Cutler/Redken Styling and Grooming Expert, says one of her favorite looks from the night was Beyonce Knowles' ultra sexy chin length bob. “This looks amazing because of the colors throughout…dark roots into dark blonde into bright blonde ends.”

GET THE LOOK:

If your client has curly hair:

STEP 1: Create a middle part when wet.

STEP 2: Apply a curl enhancing cream throughout from roots to ends.

STEP 3: Air dry or lightly dry using a diffuser on low speed and low heat from underneath so as not to create volume at the roots.

STEP 4: Shake out with fingers.

If your client has straight or wavy hair:

STEP 1: Use a medium-sized curling iron to re-create this look.

STEP 2: Prep hair by misting a light hairspray all over to create texture to the hair.

STEP 3: Create a middle side part and using the curling iron vertically and wind small sections all over making sure to keep the top on the flatter side.
