GROW OUT SOLUTION: Styling and Cutting

Pull it back, blow it out or style it forward, says Nick Stenson Matrix artist director. Elongating Hudson's existing growth is the key to giving the illusion of length. Stenson also recommends a good trim. "Jennifer, and anyone growing out a short cut, should keep the bottom layers well trimmed until the top layers catch up. Trimming more often seems illogical at first, but this method actually creates the illusion that the hair is longer than it its."
