Smoothing a client’s hair with BioIonic’s Agave Smoothing Treatment typically takes just over an hour from start to finish, depending on the hair’s length and texture. It can be done before a hair color treatment since processing is only 20 minutes, and clients can shampoo the same day.

TRY IT:

1. Prepare the hair with BioIonic’s Ion Clarify Shampoo. Rinse thoroughly, towel-dry the hair and blow dry until hair is 70 to 80 percent dry.

2. Part the hair into four sections. Starting at the neckline and taking quarter-inch to half-inch sections, apply a minimal amount of treatment from roots to ends.

3. Allow the treatment to process 20 minutes at room temperature.

4. Making sure the hair is still divided into four sections, use a paddle brush and tension to blow dry the treatment onto the hair.

5. Re-part the hair into four sections, and pass a flatiron evenly and quickly through the hair. Process an additional 20 minutes.

6. Shampoo, condition and let hair dry. Add a few drops of Agave Healing Oil for polish.
