Randall Jones of the Victor Paul Salon in Costa Mesa, California gave his client a multi-layered style that pops with a pink pompadour.

HOW TO: Creating a Disconnected StyleJones begins the cut as a fade using a #1 guard on his clipper, working through the lower portion of the head. He left several inches of length on top, which he texturized by slicing and chipping with his shears for an undone look.

HOW TO: Creating a Disconnected StyleTo style the longer strands, Jones worked HBL Mousse into the root area and ran HBL Shine & Seal through the ends. After a misting of HBL Thermal Styling Spray, Jones used a round brush with the blow dryer, directing the hair upward and away from the face. The style was finished with an application of Enjoy Dry Wax to build height and held with Super Hold Hair Spray.

HOW TO: Creating a Disconnected StyleWith the addition of more styling products and deft finger styling, this look can be easily re-styled.
