The beauty was really quite special at the Falguni & Shane Peacock Collection presented recently at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC. Modern was there to capture the HOW TO's.

Matthew Curtis, using T3 appliances, designed a chignon "with a edge. This season the collection is more wearable so we are creating a modern chignon." Curtis demos how to create the clamped edge courtesy heavy spray and a T3 flat iron.

Kelly Thompson, (using Kryolan), creates a sharp cateye and then adds gloss to the black to make it look like patent leather. "For the eyebrows, I wanted them to go away, but not entirely.  By adding some concealor you can make them vanish...slightly," she says.

Celeb manicurist Lisa Logan, using JulieG, painted "Black Sheep" on squared off press on nails. "It's a perfect look for this show," she said backstage. "And I love using press on nails during fashion week. These girls have so much to worry about that the last thing I want to do is give a nail color and design that needs extra attention."

In these three short videos, each artist breaks down the look for the show.
