One of Biloval's“secret weapons” is Joico Texture Boost Dry Spray Wax. “It gives the hair ‘grip’ and cohesion,” she explains, “which makes strands easier to work with when braiding.”

Color formula: Natural level- 6
Base: Beth Minardi Signature Permanent Haircolor 12ICE + 40-volume developer
Highlights: Joico Vero Crème Lightener + 20-volume developer
Prep: Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. Apply Joico K-PAK Smoothing Balm to damp hair to control frizz and flyaways. Use a blow dryer and a round brush to dry and smooth the hair. As you dry, create volume at the roots and direct the ends of each section under. Mist dry hair with Texture Boost Dry Spray Wax.
Step 1. Create two side sections from the hairline at the temple to the back of the ear on each side and clip away.
Step 2. Gather the top into a wide section and divide it into three strands. Beginning at the crown, begin creating a Dutch braid (a reverse French braid in which the hair is crossed underneath the center strand instead of over it, which produces a more pronounced shape.) As you braid, feed in additional hair from each side. 3. Continue working in this manner until you run out of hair completely. Secure the Dutch braid at the end.
Step 4. Beginning at the bottom of the braid, gently grasp each plait and pull to expand the shape, creating a looped effect. Work to the top in this manner.
