Olivia Wilde's Summer Beach Waves

Olivia Wilde's recent trip to New York and appearances on the David Letterman Show and Good Morning America showed off her new hair color plus soft sensuous waves. Celebrity hair stylist, David Babaii created her looks during this trip.

According to Babaii, "All great hair styles begin from within, so I am a huge advocate for both men and women taking high quality vitamins and/or supplements like Viviscal to give your hair the necessary strength and nutrition it needs to look amazing."

Wondering how you can give your clients luxurious beach waves like Wilde?

Try it: Apply a small amount of argan oil (Babaii uses his David Babaii Miracle Oil) for heat protection and shine. After rough drying the hair to create natural lift and volume, create a side part and take large sections, spraying each one with IT&LY Pure Texture Spray for hold. Then, wrap the sections around the inside of a large barrel curling iron.

BABAII'S BEACH WAVE TRICK: For more natural looking waves, alternate the direction of each section. To finish, take the fringe and top area, and lightly twist and lift hair for a modern day 40's roll. Secure with a large bobby pin. For added hold, spray with hair spray.
