1. Pull up sections from the crown and back comb the base, using a brush.
2. Create a halo section from behind the ear up over the crown. Continue to back comb down the back in vertical sections. Begin the backcombing at the root.
3. Blend out to the ends, using a brush. Isolate one side section in front of halo from a side parting. Isolate a top section on the other side.
4. Now switch to a comb. Go into the base and back comb again for added structure.
5. Blend out to the ends using the comb. Backcomb in this manner from the crown to just below the occipital, but not into the sides.
6. Using a brush, gently smooth one side to slightly beyond center and spray.
7. Secure vertically with pins.
8. Now smooth the opposite side over the first side.
9. Twist and tuck over the pins.
10. Place pins under the tuck to secure.
11. Take isolated side, pull out and brush back.
12. Smooth over the twisted section.
13. Secure with pins under the tucked area.
14. Release the isolated top section. Allow to fall naturally and then pin in to place and finish with a comb and spray, followed by a shine spray.
