Before.
Create a “W” along the rounds of the head.
Begin with the root or regrowth application using demipermanent color:
equal parts 1 1/2 oz G9 and 1/2 oz B6 (to make a Level-7 warm beige
blonde) with Vero K-Pak Chrome Activator.
Along the shaft use the same formula as above but add 1/4 oz RC8.
Tint back selected strands, alternating fi ne slices with weaves (RC8
neutralizes the over processed area).
Place on foil and apply to ends. Feather the color to the root formula.
Foils are closed lengthwise, not folded, so no marks are made and it’s
easier to remove.
Process at room temperature for 20 minutes, then rinse, shampoo and
condition.
To begin lowlights, blend 1 1/2 oz B6 and 1/2 oz G8 and 1/4 oz RC8
(mixed with its own developer). Color placement varies—some go half
way down the section.
Others go all the way to ends.
Process for 25 minutes at room temperature after last foil, then
shampoo and condition.
