PBA established the Beautiful Humanitarian Award to recognize a public figure who is an example of both outer and inner beauty. The award exemplifies the concept that beauty is more than skin deep and, although the industry’s mission is to make people look and feel their best, participation in community and charitable endeavors carries its own sense of beauty.

Robinson Peete is the founder of the HollyRod Foundation helping people cope with devastating life circumstances. She is a committed advocate for education, and for families dealing with autism and Parkinson’s disease.
