Make-Up Artist Transforms Into a Barbie: Tutorial

I have always been so fascinated by make-up artists who have the power to transform themselve and others into completely different people or characters by contouring with darker colors, highlighting with lights, and creating totally new appearances with make-up, hair additions, lashes and accessories.

In the video below, YouTube allstar Promise Tamang Phan literally turns herself into a Barbie right before our eyes by loading on concealer to create a flawless, plastic illusion, minimizes her nose by contouring with brown shadow, creates cartoon eyes by lining them with blue and pink shadows, and of course, tops it off with a pink pucker and blonde wig.

**Note: I am not suggesting you make yourself look like a Barbie, nor am I suggesting the "plastic" look is attractive. Rather, I am celebrating the talents of this make-up artist who has, time and time again, transformed herself into different characters, all through the talent and artistry of make-up application.**
