"Sharon came in with a natural level 4/5 with 50 percent grey," says Allie Villa (@allievilla) of Mimi's Salon, Belmar, NJ. "The bottom portion of her hair, and a little throughout, was more gold and she just wasn't happy. She showed me a ton of pictures with white blonde hair and said didn't want to see anymore brass. We did the following and were both thrilled!":
Step 1: Balayage the hair with Artego Balayage bleach blended with 40 volume developer and a bond builder.
Step 2: Process for 35-40 minutes, rinse and towel dry.
Step 3: Apply Wella Koleston Perfect 9/1 mixed with 30 volume, (to break her base) and apply Wella Color Touch 9/16, 10/81 and a drop of 7/89 mixed with 6 volume to glaze her ends.
Step 4: Process for 10 minutes. Rinse, apply a bond builder for 5 minutes and then shampoo and dry the hair.
