When we saw this image on  DJ Victory's  Instagram page (@DJVictory) we fell in love. What shocked us is that the photo is from 2009! We checked in with Victory to get more details:

"I'm actually the model," says Victory, owner of Enzo's Salon, Cleveland, Ohio. "I had been wearing an asymetrical bob for a little while...before Posh Spice thank you very much.. and wanted to have it cut a little more drastic. Well Amanda [Forrai] just started working at the salon and I explained to her that I wanted my left ear cut out but wanted to keep the right side longer. She was extremely nervous to cut it because it was about chin length at the time. I kept asking her and asking her and she wouldn't cut it! So one day I was sitting in her chair...asking again...and I just took her shears and cut the left ear out myself then handed the shears back to her and said, 'here...now you have to fix it....hahaha.' That's how it came about!" Forrai, now a Master at coloring and cutting at Enzo's Salon, finished the cut with shears and texturizing shears, no razor. "I styled it using Aquage Uplifting Foam while wet and finished with the Aquage Transforming Paste and Finishing Spray." VIctory adds that these images were part of the STARS Competition held during the ABS show in Chicago that year.

For color, Victory shares that she has been alternating platinum and the pastel purple for the past several years.
