Laura Munoz (@munozhair) "loves being able to be creative and change people's perspective about themselves." Located at the Regis Salon in Redondo Beach, Ca. Munoz caught our attention with this pretty silver/blue hue that she posted on instagram, tagging MODERNSALON.

Here she shares the steps it took to take her client from her warm orange box color to this pastel silverish/blue and edgy color design, knowing it would take several visits:

Step 1 : Start with all over highlights using 30 volume Matrix Cream Developer with Matrix V-lights. Apply a full head of highlights, alternating slices and weaves.

Step 2 : Process for 45 minutes. Shampoo and condition the hair.

Step  3: To ne with 10G 8P Color Sync. Apply fro root to end and process for 15 minutes. Rinse and condition.

Step 4: On her next visit apply  40 volume creme developer Matrix with Light Master roots to end.

Step 5: Process for 40 minutes. Shampoo.

Step 6: Tone with equal parts 10P 10V 10N and a bit of 8P sync color to get the palest blonde possible. Process for approximately 15 minutes then rinse and condition the hair.

Step 7: On her third visit apply 20 volume creme developer with V-light lightener and clarifying shampoo. Apply root to end

Step 8: Process for 25 minutes then shampoo, condition and blow dry.

Step 9: Apply Pravana Silver root to end.

Step 10: Process for 20 minutes under heat and then rinse from the hair with conditioner.

"It took a couple tries but her hair health and length was maintained. We had deep conditioners after every service and she used Morocconoil Leave-in treatment after every shampoo before styling her hair," says Munoz.
