Here Pham shares the HOW TO:

I started in the back working toward the front. I ombre, balayage her hair, a combination of free hand painting and fine thin weaves for a blended look.

BEFORE: Starting level 4, on previously colored hair with a 4 inch of outgrowth

FORMULA: Matrix Light Master Lightener, with alternated 20volume and 50volume + Olaplex

Step 1: Begin in the back, working forward. Balayage with a combination of freehand painting and fine thin weaves for a blended look.

Step 2: Process to level 8. Rinse, treat with Olaplex and dry the hair.

Step 3: Apply the base color:  Matrix Socolor 5AG + 5N 15volume

Step 4: Process for 10 minutes.

Step 5: Tone with Kenra Demi color mid shaft leaving 3 inches ends out 7NA+ 9PV+9 volume

Step 6: Process for 10mins, then pull through ends for 2 minutes.
