Bekah Fritze-Goodyear (@deuceshair and @demajsalon) of DeMaj Salon, Lafayette, Colorado, had an interesting correction opportunity:

"This client had come in after a long time family friend had been doing her hair for years. She said that she had wanted some balayage higher towards her roots. She then proceeded to tell me that it was done in foils, which is not balayaging, and was left under the dryer for almost 45 minutes! It was orange and breaking off. She toned it to have at least a more golden blonde. The hair was just so damaged we cut a lot off which she asked and proceeded with the color. She was happy to have healthy hair again that she could brush through without a ton falling out." This correction took approximately 3 hours.

Here Fritze-Goodyear shares the HOW TO:

STEP 1: Fill the blonde with Wella Color Touch 9/3 and 6/4 to reach a level 5. Shampoo and rough dry the hair.

STEP 2: Apply Color Touch 5/75 with 1.9% in 1/2 inch sections from root to end starting in the back quads.

STEP 3: Process for 45 minutes, rinse and shampoo the hair.
