Anna Bianca Clark (@annabiancahair), an Aveda color specialist and educator based at Seasons Salon Spa , Redlands, CA, posted this gorgeous transformation on Instagram and we had to know more! "This client came in wanting something way different from her norm," says Clark. "She wanted something trendy and something that would bring out her eyes . So I suggested going gray!"
Here Clark shares the HOW TO, using all Aveda color:
Formula A : Enlightener + 30 volume color catalyst
Formula B : 20g extra lifting cream + 2g pastel violet + 3G light blue gray + 20 volume
Formula C : 40g 0N + 3G light blue gray + 2g light violet blue + 40g liquid activator
STEP 1: Apply formula A all over the hair, with an on scalp application. Process for 25 minutes, then reapply to scalp and through ends. ("Making sure to keep it very saturated!") Process for another 30 minutes.
STEP 2: Shampoo with Blue Malva shampoo, rinse, and then tone with formula B. Process for 10 minutes. Rinse and towel dry.
STEP 3: Apply formula C all over the hair. Process for 15 minutes or until desired tone. Rinse and condition with Blue Malva conditioner. Blow dry and style.
