Predicting a new season of full-on fringes, Bang-In, a new collection by educator Lina Arrojo, offers a selection of contemporary razor cuts with enriched colors and fringes that are luxuriously thick and playfully piece-y.

“We’ve had a long love affair with bangs,” Arrojo says. “This year, with bangs becoming a high-fashion trend, we wanted to show how we’re incorporating a full, deep-set fringe into modern easy to wear styles.”

Noticeably, in these looks, it is the length, shape and texture of the fringe that plays the pivotal role.

Whether paired with long layers, textured crops, piece-y bobs or heavily layered curl enhancing cuts, the bangs are always deeply set, the length is always placed to dust the eyebrows, and the cut is always shaped to create a full fringe with the ability to add texture and movement.

“Most clients will be planning a new look for fall/winter — something a little more polished and sophisticated than the laid-back summer styles,” Arrojo says. “A great, easy way to change it up is with bangs. Bangs don’t have many takers in the summer, when it’s too hot and sticky to enjoy hair on your forehead, but fall and winter are the perfect times for a fringe. Sure to be seen on celebrities, red carpets, runways, and in editorial, textured deep-set bangs will be this fall/winter season’s most enduring beauty accessory.”

Emphasizing the return of luxurious single-shade haircolors, each cut is paired with a deluxe monotone hue, from chocolate brown to fiery copper to platinum and icy blondes.
