Matthew Tyldesley, Redken brand ambassador from Louisville, Kentucky, designed a collection inspired by the many iconic looks of Madonna. He captured the glitz and glam of the ultimate “Material Girl,” from her early days to the present.

“Models were selected based on the facial features,” said Tyldesley. “I had a prep date where models came in and we colored the hair using Redken’s new Blonde Idol and Chromatics hair color. Treatments and Shades EQ glosses were also used to bring our models to life.”

This collection showcases not only hair color but also styling. Custom hair extensions were used, as we;; as marcel irons for curls, setting and braids. Tyldesley praised his team for offering unique talents and collaborating to create a polished, multi-look collection.

“I recruited Raina Trimble for styling,” said Tyldesley. “She did a fabulous job creating the looks, along with my long time editorial companion, Isidro Valencia. Isidro’s makeup skills are phenomenal and he created the entire make up palette used on our two gorgeous models. Our photographer, Joey Goldsmith was integral part our collection by utilizing gels and beauty lighting set up to really showcase the hair and makeup. Blake Mcgrew did the beautiful promotional videos.”
