Where the ramshackle grunge of rock god Kurt Cobain meets the catwalk chic of ’60s supermodel Peggy Moffit, there’s Nu-Pop. A revolution of Sassoon’s most iconic haircut, the Five-Point, the International Creative Team’s latest collection features three looks, Nu-Op, Nu-Scene and Nu-Psych.

Inspired by the optical artist Bridget Riley, Nu-Op has tight form-fitting shapes with defined graphic outlines and beveled edges. Nu-Scene is a salute to the comic book imagery of pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, using a range of reds from copper to crimson. Nu-Psych mixes structured sectioning techniques with freehand to create a fresh, painterly effect with tones of dusty pink and muted lavender.
