"Maggie travels on tour for long periods of time so she came in with a fair amount of regrowth, about 2-3 inches (natural level 7)," says Molly Romano (@BellaDonnabyMollyRomano). Based at the Seasons Salon and Spa in Schaumburg, IL., Romano used her skills to create a beautiful new look for her client.

 

Here she offers the HOW TO for this gorgeous finish:

Step 1: Apply Schwarzkopf Vario Blond with 30vol and Olaplex throughout the hair.
Step 2: Lift to a very light pale yellow. Rinse hair thoroughly. 
Step 3: Tone at the bowl with Schwarzkopf Blonde Me in Lilac. Apply to root area. 
Step 4:  Process for 3-5 minutes (keep a close eye on it, as the Blonde me toners process very quickly). Pull the toner through to the ends for the last minute of process time, and then rinse from the hair. 

Step 5: Towel dry and apply part 2 of Olaplex for 5-10 minutes.

Step 6: Shampoo and condition with Schwarzkopf Blonde Me shampoo and conditioner. 

"I really love the results I get from Schwarzkopf  Blonde Me series," says Romano. "The toners are quick and effective, and their after care products keep my clients blonde looking fierce!"

For the cut, Romano shares the overview: "Maggie came in with a picture of a cute pixie cut. I decided I wanted to cut everything from the occipital down pulling everything straight out from the head, following the head shape. The top section is disconnected. I decided on length and cut pulling the hair straight up from the top of the head. We then blew it dry and I was able to go in and detail the top section by point cutting. We styled the hair with Schwarzkopf Dust it and a touch of hair spray."
