The 2011 International Legend & Icons Charity Gala marks PBA | NCA's fifth tribute to iconic individuals who have made an indelible mark on the direction of our industry and the lives of countless salon professionals—this year will feature Legend Yosh Toya and Icon Beth Minardi.

About Yosh Toya:
From his modest childhood home in Japan, San Francisco based Toya established himself as a classic master; a multi-location salon owner, and premier educator. His timeless styles, fluid hands and global approach have won him an Aveda Master of the Art Award, The Grand trophy of the Professional Press for Best Commercial hair style from AIPP, a NAHA Lifetime Achievement Award plus dozens of other honors.

About Beth Minardi:
Celebrity hair colorist Beth Minardi has dedicated her career to elevating salon coloring to an art form. As an internationally acclaimed salon colorist, educator and product consultant, Beth is recognized as one of the world's leading experts in all phases of coloring. She began her career as a director of education at Clairol, then she opened her NYC Minardi Salon in 1986, then she assumed the role of special consultant to Redken. In January 2010, Beth was named Spokesperson for Joico Vero KPak Color. Recently, she was the recipient of the 2010 NAHA Lifetime Achievement Award.
