Joining the existing COLOR.BUG shades in pink, purple, orange, white and neon, this new shimmery hue can be swiped onto hair for quick color application and then can be easily washed out.

“SHIMMER.BUG is an exciting new addition to the COLOR.BUG line,” explains Kevin Murphy, stylist and founder of KEVIN.MURPHY. “The golden bronze hue yields multi-dimensional highlights without the commitment of permanent color. From the outer coppery metallic packaging to the inner bronze pressed powder, everything about this new product shouts glam and glitz."

The SHIMMER.BUG can also be used to add radiance to dark or red hair. SHIMMER.BUG is meant for one-time use and washes out with shampoo. Results will vary depending on hair color. For vey blonde or chemically-dehydrated hair, use a deep conditioner before applying.

The launch of SHIMMER.BUG coincides with a new competition. Each new SHIMMER.BUG comes with a golden ticket under the cap, which has a unique code. To enter, visit www.kevinmurphy.com.au/shimmercomp to win an Apple Macbook Pro. The salons that sold the winner SHIMMERBUGs will receive an iPad. The competition dates for North America are May 1 – July 15, 2013, and for Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, the contest runs June 1 – August 31, 2013. The website will go LIVE after May 1, 2013.
