Zotos International participated in breast cancer awareness month in October by organizing its annual cut and color-a-thon to raise funds for City of Hope’s breast cancer research and treatment programs. The event began with the company recruiting stylists from Connecticut and New Jersey to volunteer their talent and services. The cuts and color services were made available to Zotos employees, family members and the public. The cut and color-a-thon was a one day event, held October 7, and raised  $1,800 in City of Hope donations.

In addition to the salon services presented at the cut and color event, Zotos hosted a company-wide raffle, which featured items that were donated by the company’s vendors. Prizes ranged from iPads, to restaurant gift certificates to hotel accommodations. The tickets were sold for $1 each and the raffle was open to employees from Zotos’ home office headquarters in Darien, Connecticut as well as the Arcadia, California and Rosemont, Illinois offices. The raffle generated an additional $5,500 in fund donations.

Ron Krassin, president and CEO of Zotos International, who took advantage of the cut-a-thon commented on the company’s charitable initiatives. “This is one of a number of events that employees participate in throughout the year and I am proud to be part of a company that values the importance of giving back to our community. City of Hope is an incredible organization and we are pleased to continue to support their heroic efforts,” Krassin said.  Visit zotos.com.
