Cosmetologists Chicago® (CC), lead association of America's Beauty Network, honored Fred Piattoni on his 60-years of membership, at the President's Party held during the association-owned America's Beauty Show, March 28-30, 2009.
Piattoni served on the CC Board of Directors as a salon owner and was President in 1967-1968. When the association needed him most, Fred took over as Executive Director. His leadership ensured the continued success of the organization by growing "The Midwest Beauty Show" (now America's Beauty Show) into the most anticipated annual event in the salon industry.
Paul Dykstra, Cosmetologists Chicago's current CEO, noted on saluting his mentor, "A leader is known by the success of the people he leads. For me, and all who know him, Fred is a true leader."
