Ivan Zoot, director of education and training at Andis Company, is aiming to break the current Guinness World Record for most haircuts performed in a 24-hour period by staging a haircutting marathon at Roosters Men's Grooming Center in Austin, Texas on August 22. The current record is 300 cuts in 24 hours and Zoot is ready to take on all comers who want a fast haircut. He has previously broken three Guinness haircutting records. The event at Roosters will feature free food and live music and will be sponsored by Andis, Woody's Men's Grooming products and Roosters Grooming Centers. Proceeds from the marathon will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas and Children with Hair loss.

"While we attempt to break the record of 300 haircuts in 24 hours, we are going to go the extra mile and take a shot at two more records-the fastest haircut in the world and the greatest number of professional haircuts executed in one hour," says Zoot.
