Andis employees topped last year’s fund raising effort for the United Way of Racine County (Wisconsin) by 42 percent over last year. The theme of this year’s campaign was “A Season of Giving,” and Andis employees displayed their generosity at various giving levels, with a choice of receiving either an Andis 90th Anniversary Master Clipper or a half day of paid vacation.

“Our associates prove again and again how committed we all are to this community and to people in need,” said Matthew K. Andis, president. “Our United Way committee did an amazing job of running a campaign that was both extremely successful and full of fun events.”

The Andis team thought up several creative initiatives to raise funds including pledge cards, a flat screen TV raffle, a car wash, silent auction, bake sales and chili cook-off. Andis partnered with more than 20 companies in the Racine, Wisconsin area who responded to Andis’ donation requests. United Way of Racine funds more than 60 programs and special projects throughout the community. Visit andis.com.
