Color Zoom Global Event 2013 Arrives in Los Angeles this Weekend

The Goldwell Color Zoom Global Event 2013 will premiere in Los Angeles this weekend. From October 5-7, 3.500 hairdressers from all continents will gather for three days full of celebration, inspiration and education with the Goldwell team. 

MODERN's Maggie Mullhern will be judging the Color Zoom Challenge that takes place on Sunday, Oct. 6.  This year, 72 national finalists will compete live and simultaneously in three categories: Partner, New Talent and Creative. Of those, 21 will demonstrate their skills in the Partner Category. This category is for color creations by hairdressers who participate in shows or training for Goldwell. Another 24 creative stylists will compete in the New Talent Category for young, creative colorists with less than five years of professional experience. The remaining 27 hairdressers will compete in the Creative Category for color creations with Topchic, Colorance and Elumen – for experienced colorists.

 After the Live Competition, Color Zoom guests will get an exclusive preview of Goldwell’s new trend collec-tion created by the Global Color Zoom ’14 Creative Team. During the Inspirational Look & Learn Seminar, the Global Color Zoom Creative Team and the Goldwell Education Team will bring the new Color Zoom col-lection to life and inspire the audience with the latest trends and color and cut techniques.

 At the world-famous LA Live, the Goldwell Master Team will present its haute couture interpretation of Color Zoom ’14 during the Color Zoom ’14 Inspirational Hair Fashion Catwalk Show. Hair fashion, music and multi-media will be combined in Hollywood style. The evening will culminate with an award ceremony for the new Color Zoom Challenge winners.

 Then, it’s on to the Color Zoom After Party, where 3.500 guest will celebrate the new international winners at LA Live.

The event will conclude Monday night at the Club Mayan and the Belasco Theaters.
