John Amico Haircare hosted 41 of its team members on a cruise that combined a tropical vacation with opportunities for business education and inspiration.
The January get-away from the Chicago winter included stops in St. Maarten, St., Thomas, Grand Turks and Princess Cays with dining, entertainment and shopping.
On board the Ruby Princess, stylists attended daily classes with industry leaders including motivational speaker Geno Stampora, Fred Dengler, founder and president of Mikal Corp. and company executives John Amico Sr., founder, and John Amico Jr., president. Classes included both technical and business education and stylists were able to earn a portion of the trip through product sales. Those with the top sales figures earned a free trip.
