Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute have announced new classes to their curricula for Fall/Winter 2011-2012. Dermalogica is offering two new classes (which are available to any Dermalogica accounts and the professional skin therapists they employ).

CLASSES INCLUDE:

The Dermalogica Exfoliation Workshop:
addresses the most-requested service on the professional menu. The one-day classes tackles the benefits and risks of resurfacing products, ingredients and techniques through half day of theory and half day of hands-on training. A key area of focus is the unique Dermalogica Exfoliation Level System and BioActivity Score technologies, which may be used to precisely customize and calibrate a client’s exfoliation treatment and at home-care.

Bite-Size Business Solutions, Gaining Buzz and PR: This two-hour interactive session offers the skin care center, salon or spa owner invaluable strategies on building their own local media campaign and practical how-to for establishing and maintaining a distinctive brand identity in today’s rapidly moving media marketplace.

For more skin education, The International Dermal Institute is offering a new class called Skin Series. This three-hour intensive class at select IDI locations goes over Eczema and Psoriasis. These complex inflammatory diseases are analyzed and discussed, from root-causes to advanced treatment and therapies. This course is of special relevance, as immune-inflammatory conditions are now on the rise in the USA.
