The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) will launch new one-day Regional Salon Summits across the United States starting this Fall. Designed to help salon owners and beauty professionals elevate their business, careers, each summit will feature various sessions ranging from business management and tax planning to marketing and staff development. Networking with other salon professionals will also take place so that attendees can learn from one another and discuss common interests in a relaxed format.

Essential Salon Products will host the first Regional Salon Summit in the Boston area on September 10, 2012. Designed to maximize time and take-home knowledge, the Regional Salon Summit in Boston will feature four core sessions, which include:

-Social Intelligence: Leveraging Social Platforms to Grow Your Business. Gordon Miller will review how to use and measure social media data to analyze marketing and promotional results, build relationships, encourage referrals, and drive client traffic.    

-Leadership Matters by beauty industry coach, Terri Cowan, will discuss the importance of leadership and how to take back the reins to manage staff and talent while further business and increasing clientele.

-The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, with Vivienne Mackinder will teach how to understand that by following the "laws", people will follow you. Vivienne will guide you through what others have learned about the art of connection and how persuasively communicating your ideas can create buy-in and attract followers.

-Achieving Extraordinary will feature Neil Ducoff teaching attendees how to get out of their routine and rise above to make their business dreams a reality. This presentation is all about the systems and disciplines every salon must use to drive productivity, profitability, staff retention, and customer loyalty.  

The Boston area Regional Salon Summit will be held on Monday, September 10th.
