Anthony Pucciarelli, president and CEO of KPSS GmbH, announced that Cory Couts has been named president and CEO of KPSS, Inc. with responsibility for leading and growing both the Goldwell and KMS California professional hair care brands in North America.

Couts has over 21 years of experience in the professional salon industry and he previously held the position of vice president, global business development at KMS California both prior to and following the brand's acquisition by Kao Corporation. During his tenure in that position, Couts developed the international business and brand image of KMS California in all markets outside North America and created marketing initiatives that successfully brought Goldwell and KMS products to salons and stylists.

Most recently, Couts was CEO of co3co, inc., a consulting firm that specializes in providing strategic business growth support to the global hair and skin care markets. KPSS was one of Couts' clients at co3co where he served as an advisor to Pucciarelli.
