THE DETAILS: The sold-out event kicked off with a fabulous runway show that continued into the breakout sessions. All techniques used for the runway styles were taught hands-on in the classrooms. Eufora also introduced their new model imagery and salon merchandising pieces that continue to convey the new message introduced with last year's packaging evolution. The company's commitment to family and charity took center stage in an emotional check-giving ceremony. Don and Beth Bewley presented ChildHelp with $100,000 that was raised as a collaborative effort of the Eufora Salon Network.
THE BUZZ: The YOU School, a new advanced education initiative, and Eufora's new website were revealed during the two-day conference. The YOU School offers inspiration, resources and basic business-building blocks. Eufora's new salon website will feature the work of stylists within the Eufora network, a monthly blog by Don Bewley and a new partner salon program.
THE LAST WORD: "This is the first time in my 30 years in the industry that I have experienced and found a true connection to a company that wants to bring the professional hairdresser and the industry in general to the next level. Eufora is from the heart and soul," said Eduardo Tramontozzi of Starz Salon in Sudberry, Massachusetts. "I believe and can see that the mission of this company is to help create a better life, a better world and a better business life. There is true passion here."
