The 15th annual American Board of Certified Hairdressers (ABCH) Energizing Summit was held June 28-29, 2015 at the Marriott Hotel LAX in Los Angeles, CA.  This year's event saw a 20% increase in attendance.

56 educators held 142 classes during the two-day event. The hands-on classes are product-neutral and no selling is allowed in the classrooms.   “It is amazing how much faster you learn haircolor when you remove selling from the curriculum,” Andre Nizetich, President of ABCH,  says.

A highlight of the event was MODERN SALON's Steve Reiss’ presentation of original research on the state of booth and chair rental in the salon industry.  A full report is available at www.modernsalon.com/rental

NEXT YEAR: The next Energizing Summit will be held on June 12-13, 2016, at the same location, the LAX Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. Registration will open February 1, 2016.
