Kim Vo’s Positive Message

Cheryl and Jim Markham, 2009 City of Hope Spirit of Life Honorees, invited celebrity stylist Kim Vo to become involved with City of Hope’s Positive Image Center, where patients learn to minimize the cosmetic side effects of medical treatments with cost-free services and programs.

Vo and the Markhams visited the Positive Image Center to meet two City of Hope patients, who recently lost their hair undergoing chemotherapy. Both patients received wigs designed and cut especially for them by Vo. 

“I was so happy to be able to connect Kim with City of Hope patients,” says Jim Markham. “They were thrilled to have a hair makeover from a celebrity stylist of Kim’s caliber.”
