Eric Polesuk, former CEO of Product Club Color Accessories, and Bob Churchill, former VP of Sales & Marketing for both United Beauty (CT) and Emiliani Enterprises have teamed up to launch Salon Performance, a professional products full service distribution company covering metro NJ/NY/CT and eastern PA.  Beginning January 2016, the company will represent select brands while focusing on education and exceptional customer service with a staff of 5 veteran sales consultants.

“All the consolidation in the beauty industry has left manufacturers with very few choices when it comes to distribution,” says Polesuk.  “New emerging brands face serious barriers to entry as most distribution houses that remain are severely over lined and lack the time to focus on any one brand.  The same holds true for established brands that may not be getting the attention and market penetration they feel they deserve.  The opportunity now in the northeast has never looked better for a well funded, well connected management team who truly understands the market,” adds Polesuk.

“I am thrilled to team up with Bob as he brings a wealth of distribution knowledge, expertise and relationships with manufacturers and sales consultants,” states Polesuk.  Having spent the last 20+ years on the manufacturing side revolutionizing the Color Accessories business, I am now ready to revitalize professional distribution.

“We’re bringing back the spirit of “family” run entrepreneurial distribution the way it used to be before large corporate buyouts changed our industry, and we intend to have fun in the process,” says Churchill.  “While all industries experience change, what we’ve witnessed over the past few years is a shift in priority from the independent salon owner to the corporate shareholder.  It’s our belief that reversing this trend will have a substantially positive effect for all of our customers and vendor partners.  We look forward to working with business-savvy salon owners that understand the value of unique products, the importance of outstanding education and sales reps that partner with their customers,” adds Churchill.
