Schwarzkopf Professional's three-day Olympic themed conference, held at the world famous Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, began with Regional Head of Henkel Beauty Care Professional North America, Stefan Mund addressing members of the corporate office, Education Managers, and Sales Representatives.

On January 27, 2016, Schwarzkopf Professional hosted their annual three-day sales event in Los Angeles, CA. This year’s unique key message, “Winning Together” had an underlying Olympic theme. Schwarzkopf Professional’s corporate office, regional education managers, as well as marketing, and field sales representatives were all in attendance, with the goal of aligning sales, education, marketing, and new product initiatives for 2016.

The Olympic concept was conceptualized by Fred Collins, North American Vice President of Sales for Schwarzkopf Professional and Henkel Beauty Care.

“Once we create a stronger partnership between these three interfacing customer teams--education, sales, and marketing-- then we can truly win together out in the field,” Collins says. “It is vital to have all levels and departments support one another, in order to reach our target goal of providing excellence in the execution of building the business of salon partners.”

The conference theme also speaks to the underlying concept of teamwork, one of Schwarzkopf Professional’s core ideals supported by its tagline; “Together A Passion For Hair.”

The conference took place at the world famous Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, home to two Olympic Summer Games, as well as the USC Trojan football team. To commence the event, Schwarzkopf Professional rented out the USC locker room to host a meeting focusing on their business performance for 2015, and highlighting their expectations for 2016. The attendees then were divided into teams, and competed in seven different athletic events on the Coliseum field in their own Henkel Olympics.
