Tomei's Cascading Hairstyle Exudes Looseness, Softness & Lots of Femininity

Los Angeles - Hairstylist Adir Abergel used FHI Heat's Nano Salon Pro 2100 Blow Dryer to create soft, feminine looks for Best Supporting Actress Nominee Marisa Tomei and Presenter Jessica Biel for the 81st Academy Awards Ceremony.

Abergel first blew Tomei's hair out using a round brush and the FHI Heat's Nano Salon Pro 2100 Blow Dryer, pinning her hair in place as it cooled and using hair clips to secure hair in various soft curves. He swept the bangs to the side and let that hair cascade over her eye. Finally, he used bobby pins to secure the hair, then removed the hair clips, finishing with hairspray. "The look exudes looseness, softness and lots of femininity, which complements the twists and turns of her graceful dress," explains Abergel.

Abergel also used the FHI Heat's Nano Salon Pro 2100 Blow Dryer on Jessica Biel, creating a "very romantic almost Victorian look, sexy and feminine." After using the dryer, he hand-dried her hair completely to remove all of her natural texture. He then took a 1" curling iron and curled random pieces. Once finished, he threw the hair half-up allowing a few pieces to fall down and frame the face, and also braided two small braids on either side of the temples and pulled them back. He finished the look with hairspray.
