Spornette President Alan Sporn shaved his head on March 7, 2015, in order to raise money for St. Baldrick's Foundation, which is a non-profit with the ultimate goal of ending childhood cancer.

With help from his two grandsons, Brayden and Quinn, Sporn raised more than $3,500 for the cause.

His choice of St. Baldrick's Foundation comes largely from the knowledge that in the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease (including AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes) combined, Sporn says.
