Cory Couts has been named Global President of Kao Group, Salon, succeeding Anthony Pucciarelli, and will lead both the Goldwell and KMS California brands worldwide. Currently, Couts is president and general manager of Kao USA, Inc. and will assume his new role June 1, 2012.
Pucciarelli says, “Cory’s outstanding performance in the last year as the leader of our USA business, the largest in the world, has made him the obvious choice of Kao Corporation to lead the brands globally. His understanding of salon and stylist is unmatched and this knowledge has had a direct effect on our results.”
Couts will be headquartered in Darmstadt, Germany and will continue as president and general manager of Kao USA, Inc., Salon until his successor is announced.
