The nails during New York Fashion Week act as accent, counterpoint or a purely playful pop of color.  They will be discussed the same way hair and makeup will be hashed over because nail colors and shapes are indicators of trends. And what was trending at Assembly New York's runway show was mod minimalism.

OPI joined Assembly New York in presenting its Fall/Winter 2014 collection on February 10. To capture the designer’s spare and modern Egyptian aesthetic, OPI manicurists buffed models’ nails to a high shine and added a black Swarovski crystal at the center of the cuticle line. Thumbs were polished in black satin-finish lacquer 4 In The Morning.
